FAQ's

This is the FAQ page! Basically where “Frequently Asked Questions” are to be found…

Q: Can things be changed if I don’t like something when you’re done with
my art piece?
A: Most artists don’t allow changes to happen, this means more time for them, and they will do it, but at a cost. I believe in satisfied customers, as long as it’s a simple change and not a “total redo” we can definitely work something out.

Q: In your Photo Design section on the prices page, I would like to have just something from your “Side Packages”, do I still need to buy one of the ‘Main Packages’ to get this?
A: Not at all, if you have a photo and just want an effect done to it, that’s fine. I get quite a few photos that have a perfect background that the customer does not want touched. For example see the Mermaid I did in the Fantasy Folder of the Portfolio page.

Q: Why do you charge more money if there are more people in the photo?
A: The more people that are in the photo, the longer it will take. With one person for the cheapest package, I will spend a good portion of the day making sure it looks good. Now say you pay me for the same Design Package (P1) it’s only $60. Now if I’m to work on that single photo and you have like 30 people in the shot, it will take me a couple of weeks, and you are basically paying for my time. So do take advantage of my price break of $10 for more than 3 people.

Q: Do I need to have my photo taken by you, if I want my photo changed digitally, or can I provide my own photo?
A: Nope, all I ask is that it’s at a good resolution and a decent size. But you will need to send the photo first so I may look it over and then give you an evaluation of the photo.

Q: In a Statement you sent me for the area in Photography, you state that you own the rights to the photos. How is this, if I am paying you to be my photographer?
A: Every photographer owns the right to use every photo they take for their portfolio, and to assure them recognition for their work. Those rights also apply for any art I, or any other artist may work on. Please Don’t confuse this with me saying I own you, I don’t. If I do a project for you and you use it for private use (like on your web site or for your portfolio), that’s fine, but I should not see my work on the side of a bus going down town, or being sold on T-shirts “without” my knowledge. Now for something like a Logo, I am selling those rights to you, since it is basically known that a logo will go on everything, including sales items.

Q: You say for Logo’s you make a bunch of different ideas for me to choose from. Do I also get to keep those other logo ideas?
A: You pay for one logo, you get to keep the “one” I finish in its final form. And when you pay for it in the contact section, your payment acts as your signature, and my bank records finalize it. All other ideas that don’t get used, I still own. If you would like another logo in addition to the finalized one, you'll have to purchase it.

Q: Can you turn me into an alien, animal, Viking, siren..? Something I have not seen in your portfolio? " and "I already know what I want done, can I just tell you?
A: Just because you don’t see it, does not mean I wont help you create it. Any idea you might have please contact me, and we will brainstorm on it. If you have a concrete idea of what you want, please let me know. I encourage my clients to get involved as much as they like in the creative process, since the final outcome should be something you love. Please give me any and all creative ideas or suggestions you may have.
